Marcel Somerville is reportedly in talks about a shock return to Love Island almost eight years after he appeared on the show.
The 38-year-old - a former member of Blazin' Squad - was most one of the most popular Islanders in the third series of the ITV2 dating show in summer 2017, finishing in joint fourth place among a cast that also included Kem Cetinay, Olivia Attwood, Chris Hughes and Amber Davies.
After leaving the show Somerville married model Rebecca Vieira and shares son Roman with her, but earlier this year it split from her after it emerged that she had been texting an American rapper on the side.
Now The Sun says that Somerville could be back in the market for romance and is in talks about appearing in the second All Stars series next year.
A source said: "Marcel Sommerville has had meetings with bosses about doing All Stars in January and he is toying with it.
"The cast has not been confirmed yet but he is keen for a fresh start after everything he has been through in his private life.
"Things have been on and off with him and Rebecca though so if they decide to give things another go, he may not do it but right now, it's looking promising. Producers would love to have him back."
Love Island: All Stars is due to begin in January on ITV2 and ITVX.
