E4 has confirmed that the new series of its popular dating show Celebs Go Dating will adopt an innovative new format.
The participating celebrities and their potential love matches will move into a mansion together and be filmed 24/7 as they not only go on dates together but also have to adjust to living together for several weeks.
The move allows the new series to be filmed in a coronavirus-free production bubble - a tactic already used to good effect this year on The Great British Bake Off and Made In Chelsea.
Called Celebs Go Dating: The Mansion, the series will feature seven famous faces, including Gary Lineker's Ibiza promoter brother Wayne Lineker, Made In Chelsea's Sophie Hermann and Love Island alumnus Curtis Pritchard.
Also moving into the mansion are Coronation Street's Kimberly Hart-Simpson, Geordie Shore's Chloe Ferry, actor Karim Zeroual and international DJ Tom Zanetti.
"I'm so excited to join the Celebs Go Dating agency," said Pritchard, younger brother of I'm A Celebrity's AJ Pritchard. "I'm really looking forward to learning more about myself.
"I can't wait to see who the agents set me up with. I have not been on many dates in my life, so I'm super exited to explore the dating scene - hopefully I'll find my version of the perfect woman."
Hermann said: "2020 has definitely been a bleak year for dating, how many socially distanced park walks can one go on?!
"I've joined the agency to hopefully find love and not have to spend another lockdown alone. I think the agency will have their work cut out for them, mainly due to my lack of filter and pickiness, but I am putting all of my trust into their hands."
The new series is expected to be filmed in the coming weeks for broadcast on E4 in early 2021.
