Keanu Reeves in talks for Spider-Man spinoff Kraven?

Keanu Reeves is reportedly offered the role of Spider-Man enemy Kraven the Hunter in a new spinoff movie.

Keanu Reeves has reportedly been approached about playing Kraven the Hunter in a new Spider-Man spinoff movie.

The character is one of Spidey's most relentless enemies in the comics and possesses an ongoing desire to hunt down and kill the web-slinger.

Several Spider-Man spinoffs are currently in the works at Sony following the release of Venom in 2018, with sequel Venom: Let There Be Carnage due out this summer and Morbius scheduled for January 2022.

According to the well-connected website The Illuminerdi, plans for a standalone Kraven film have taken a big step forward with an offer for Reeves, 56, to play the titular anti-hero.

The publication says that Reeves has yet to commit to the project, while also citing a source who describes the proposed film as "a mashup of Man On Fire and Logan".

Meanwhile, the third standalone Spider-Man movie in the MCU is currently being filmed ahead of a planned release this Christmas.
