The revived version of Saved By The Bell has been renewed for a second season, it has been confirmed today.
The classic kids sitcom, set in the fictional school Bayside High, returned for a new 10-episode run on streaming service Peacock in November - more than 27 years after the original series concluded.
Most of the original cast returned in regular or guest roles for the reboot, which followed a new crop of students navigating life and love at Bayside.
"I'm thrilled that Saved By The Bell has been renewed," said executive producer Tracey Wigfield. "I've been blown away by all the love for the show and can't wait to go back and make more episodes.
"Hopefully we stay on Peacock for many more seasons, and then in 30 years, somebody does a reboot of our reboot and invents the threeboot."
The renewal comes just days after the sad news that original star Dustin Diamond, who played loveable geek Screech, is battling stage four cancer.
Season two of Saved By The Bell will run to 10 episodes and is expected to go into production later this year.
