Love Island winner Amber Gill in line for Strictly Come Dancing?

Love Island winner Amber Gill becomes an odds-on favourite to appear on Strictly Come Dancing.

Last year's winner of Love Island Amber Gill has emerged as an odds-on favourite to take part in the new series of Strictly Come Dancing.

The 23-year-old won the ITV2 show with partner Greg O'Shea last summer but found herself single within months as he dumped her by text.

The Strictly lineup is almost finalised and after a flurry of bets on Gill taking part over the last 24 hours, bookmakers Coral have shortened her odds to 10/11.

"There was no Love Island this summer but we think we'll be seeing plenty of last year's winner on our screens this autumn," a spokesman told The Sun.

"We make Amber odds on to be a contestant on Strictly Come Dancing."

Coronavirus has both postponed and shortened the length of this year's series, which is now due to get underway at the end of October.
