Myleene Klass is reportedly wanted by Strictly Come Dancing for this year's show - and she could be in line for a Popstars reunion.

Singer and presenter Myleene Klass is reportedly in the frame to appear on this year's Strictly Come Dancing.

The BBC is working on radical plans to ensure that the show can go ahead as usual this autumn despite the coronavirus pandemic, including scrapping live audiences, ditching Blackpool week and axing group dances.

According to the Daily Star, former Hear'Say star Klass, 42, is in talks with producers about joining the lineup - and could be in line for a bizarre reunion.

The newspaper says that Strictly also want to sign up Nicki Chapman, the former PR executive-turned-presenter who was responsible for choosing Klass to be part of Hear'Say on the ITV show Popstars in 2001.

"Strictly want both to be in the lineup," said a source. "They are household names and haven't really worked together since Popstars so it would be an amazing reunion."

Other names in the frame for this year's show include RuPaul Charles, Michelle Keegan, Catherine Tate and Jane Goldman.
