RuPaul is reportedly in the frame to join this year's series of Strictly Come Dancing.

Legendary drag queen RuPaul Charles is reportedly being courted for this year's series of Strictly Come Dancing.

Producers are planning to get the show on air at the end of September as usual, despite the ongoing disruption caused by the coronavirus pandemic.

A report yesterday claimed that "two A-listers" have been approached to appear on this year's show and both are giving the proposals serious consideration.

According to bookmakers' Ladbrokes, RuPaul is the favourite to join the lineup and has been priced at odds of 5/1 to take part.

The 59-year-old, who launched a UK version of RuPaul's Drag Race last year, is known to be a big fan of Strictly and made several appearances on the show last year to support friend Michelle Visage.

Other names in the frame include Catherine Tate, Michelle Keegan and Jamie Laing.
