Little Mix have notched up their fifth UK number one single with 'Sweet Melody', according to final sales figures from the Official Charts Company.
The track - first released in October - becomes the girls' first chart-topper since 'Shout Out To My Ex' in 2016 and the first since the departure of Jesy Nelson last month.
"We literally can't thank the fans enough," the trio said in a joint statement. "We see them every day fighting to get this song to Number 1.
"The fact this song has been out since October and now it's got to Number 1 just shows how dedicated they are. We can't wait to eventually get back on the road again and see them all – and give them a big hug when we're allowed."
Ed Sheeran sits in second place on the chart this week after his surprise new single 'Afterglow' climbs 11 places, while rapper CJ's 'Whoopty' also makes an impressive ascent and is up to three.
Justin Bieber's 'Anyone' - released on New Year's Eve - is the week's highest entry at four.
On the albums chart, Taylor Swift is back on top with Evermore after a tight chart battle with Harry Styles's Fine Line, which settles for second place.
