AC Milan striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic pledges his immediate future to the club.

AC Milan striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic has admitted that he is seeking assurances over the club's transfer activity this summer.

Milan failed to retain their Serie A title this season with Juventus securing the Scudetto, but the 30-year-old has pledged his immediate future to the club.

"I still have two years left of my contract and I will respect and honor it. I'm sorry not to have won the Scudetto in statistically my best year to date. I am not used to winning nothing. It's the first time that it's happened to me," he told Aftonbladet.

"Milan have promised me an even more competitive squad for next season, so I'll wait to see what happens. I have no doubts about my future. The question is whether the club has any doubts about this whole project. It's the club that must tell their plans to the squad and to us players individually. But I feel very happy here at Milan and I want to continue to play and win here."

Ibrahimovic has scored 35 goals in 42 games this season.
