Report: Diego Lopez to leave AC Milan

A report claims that AC Milan's 34-year-old goalkeeper Diego Lopez is targeting a move to the Premier League in the January transfer window.

AC Milan goalkeeper Diego Lopez is reportedly considering the possibility of moving to the Premier League in the January transfer window.

The experienced Spaniard joined Milan from Real Madrid in 2014 and has been a key player for his Italian club over the last 18 months.

This season, the 34-year-old has made eight Serie A appearances, but it is understood that he wants to sample life in England before retiring.

According to Tuttosport, the news has placed a number of Premier League clubs on alert, with Lopez highly respected around Europe.

The Spain international has also represented the likes of Villarreal and Sevilla during a well-travelled professional career.
