Arsenal's Rob Holding cleared to face Leicester City?

Arsenal confirm that Rob Holding has returned to training from a concussion ahead of Sunday's Premier League clash with Leicester City.

Arsenal could be boosted by the return of Rob Holding for Sunday's trip to Leicester City in the Premier League.

The centre-back was taken off with a suspected concussion in the defeat to Manchester City last weekend and played no part in Thursday's dramatic 3-2 triumph over Benfica in the Europa League.

However, Arsenal confirmed in an injury update that Holding returned to full training on Saturday and is ready to play a part against Leicester at the King Power Stadium this weekend.

However, whether the former Bolton Wanderers man will be risked from the start remains to be seen, with David Luiz and Gabriel Magalhaes often pairing up in front of Bernd Leno in recent matches.

The 25-year-old penned a new deal at the Emirates Stadium last month after becoming a vital player for Mikel Arteta, and he has made 20 Premier League starts for the Gunners this term.

Arsenal are eight places and 15 points behind third-placed Leicester in the Premier League table heading into Sunday's battle, and Holding's return means that third-choice goalkeeper Alex Runarsson is their only absentee at the moment.
