Petr Cech believes that beating Arsenal this weekend would have a "huge impact" on the Premier League.

Chelsea keeper Petr Cech has said that a win at Arsenal this weekend would have a "huge impact" on the Premier League.

The Blues, who are seven points behind Arsenal with one game in hand, could close the gap to one point with wins in their next two games. Meanwhile, Tottenham and Newcastle could move ahead of the Gunners in the race for third place.

"This game is massive for both teams," he said.

"If we close [the gap] we can gain belief. The complexion will look different, the pressure will shift and Arsenal will need to be watching around them.

"It will be a massive challenge for all four teams, and it will have a huge impact on the Premier League."

Depending on outside results, Chelsea could move as high as fourth place with a win at the Emirates Stadium this afternoon.
