Andre Santos believes that Arsenal need to win something this season "no matter what" for their fans.

Arsenal defender Andre Santos has insisted that his side need to win a trophy this season.

The Premier League outfit have not won any silverware since 2005 when they clinched the FA Cup.

"We need to win a trophy this season, no matter what," he told Goal.com. "This is what our fans are expecting from us.

"We need to improve every day, keep working hard everyday to have a chance to play well.

"The team has had a few problems as we have had many new players and we are trying to find our identity."

Arsenal host Montpellier in the Champions League on Wednesday.
