Arsene Wenger eager to grab "opportunity" in Premier League title race

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger believes that his side can take a big "opportunity" in the title race by beating Manchester City tomorrow.

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger believes that his side need to grasp the "opportunity" of boosting their Premier League title chances by beating Manchester City this weekend.

The Gunners can extend their lead over Liverpool and Chelsea to eight points if they secure a win in their clash against City at the Etihad Stadium in tomorrow's early kickoff.

"I think we have an opportunity to make a difference on Saturday, we play first and have an opportunity to go from five to eight [point lead] and that's fantastic, we have to look at it like that," Wenger said in a press conference.

"I don't deny that every game has vital importance because of the inference on confidence, the belief of the team, what you just want from your team is to show during this [busy] period is a huge level of commitment and belief. That can make a massive difference but the period is important."

Arsenal have lost just twice in 15 games.
