Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger is reportedly considering leaving striker Robin van Persie out of his traveling squad for the club's pre-season trip to Asia.

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger is reportedly pondering whether to leave striker Robin van Persie out of the club's traveling squad to Asia.

The Frenchman is expected to name the host of players jetting to Asia to begin the North London club's pre-season tour later today.

Wenger is believed to be undecided on whether to include the prolific striker in his squad following van Persie's announcement that he does not want to sign a new contract at the club, according to The Mirror.

If the Dutchman is not included, the decision indicates that the 28-year-old is likely to be on his way out of the Emirates this summer.

It is understood that Manchester City, Juventus and Manchester United are interested in the forward's services, as well as Italian giants AC Milan, who emerged as fresh contenders for van Persie's signature yesterday.
