Sports Mole looks at how Arsenal could line up against Aston Villa in the Premier League on Wednesday night.

Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta could name close to an unchanged side for Wednesday's Premier League clash with Aston Villa at the Emirates Stadium.

The Gunners will again definitely be without the services of Reiss Nelson due to a thigh problem, while Thomas Partey remains on the sidelines, but Oleksandr Zinchenko is pushing to return.

Partey was not available against Fulham on Saturday due to a thigh issue, while Zinchenko missed out with a knee problem, and the former will again be missing.

Even if Arteta declares Zinchenko fit and available, the Ukraine international could potentially be held back for Sunday's clash with Manchester United at Old Trafford.

Mohamed Elneny is also out for the Gunners due to a thigh issue, so there could be a spot in midfield for new signing Fabio Vieira or Albert Sambi Lokonga.

Takehiro Tomiyasu and Emile Smith Rowe are among the options for change, but Arteta is likely to resist the temptation to shuffle his pack.

Ben White should continue at right-back, while Bukayo Saka, Martin Odegaard and Gabriel Martinelli are again expected to be the three players in support of Gabriel Jesus.

Arsenal possible starting lineup: Ramsdale; White, Saliba, Gabriel, Tierney; Xhaka, Lokonga; Saka, Odegaard, Martinelli; Jesus
