Arsenal have agreed to sign defender Rob Holding from Bolton Wanderers on a long-term deal.
The 20-year-old enjoyed a breakthrough season during the 2015-16 campaign, making 30 appearances for the Trotters.
Bolton ultimately suffered relegation from the Championship, but Holding was voted the club's player of the year and his form saw him linked to a number of Premier League clubs.
Arsenal have now won the race for his signature having reportedly offered cash-strapped Bolton £2m for the youngster.
The exact length of his contract at the Emirates Stadium has not been revealed, but the Gunners have confirmed that it is a "long-term" deal.
Holding was part of the England Under-21s squad that won the Toulon Tournament this summer, alongside new Arsenal teammate Calum Chambers.
