Just before 8pm this evening, discussions between Arsenal and Everton midfielder Arteta stalled.
However, with just under two hours to go until the transfer window closes, talks between both parties have reportedly restarted.
Arteta was thought to be unhappy with the wages being offered by the Gunners ahead of a £10m move to the Emirates Stadium.
