Arsenal have reportedly slapped a £20m asking price on the head of Spanish outcast Lucas Perez.
Perez earned a £17m move to London last August after finding the back of the net on 17 occasions for Spanish outfit Deportivo La Coruna during the 2015-16 La Liga campaign.
The Spaniard struggled to make his mark in England, however, and only started two Premier League matches for Arsenal last term, which has led to suggestions of discontent.
Last week, Newcastle United boss Rafael Benitez claimed that he had held talks with Arsenal over a possible deal for Perez, although the player's agent has claimed that the London club are pricing him out of a move.
According to The Sun, Arsenal are keen to offload Perez in this summer's transfer window, but the Gunners want £20m before sanctioning a sale.
Perez, who scored eight times for Arsenal last season despite his lack of football, revealed last month that he is desperate to leave the Emirates Stadium before the August deadline.
