Arsenal 'eye Real Madrid centre-back Eder Militao'

Arsenal are reportedly considering a summer move for Real Madrid centre-back Eder Militao.

The 22-year-old joined Los Blancos from Porto in a big-money move last summer but has found it difficult to make his mark at the Bernabeu, featuring on just 13 occasions in all competitions.

Madrid have allegedly assured the Brazil international that he will not be sold ahead of the 2020-21 campaign, but the Spanish club's head coach Zinedine Zidane is said to have been unimpressed by the defender's performances this term.

According to reports in Spain, Arsenal are keeping a close eye on developments as they weigh up a move during this summer's transfer window.

France Under-20 international William Saliba is due to officially move to the Emirates Stadium ahead of next season, having spent the current campaign on loan with Saint-Etienne.

The Gunners are expected to be in the market for at least one centre-back, though, with Militao seemingly being identified as a possible arrival in North London.
