Arsenal are reportedly prepared to offload 11 unwanted players in this summer's transfer window, including Bernd Leno, Lucas Torreira and Nicolas Pepe.

Arsenal are reportedly prepared to offload 11 unwanted players in this summer's transfer window.

Mikel Arteta has been busy in the market ahead of the 2022-23 campaign, with Gabriel Jesus, Oleksandr Zinchenko, Fabio Vieira, Matt Turner and Marquinhos arriving at the Emirates Stadium for close to £120m.

Meanwhile, six players have left the Gunners permanently including Alexandre Lacazette, Konstantinos Mavropanos and Matteo Guendouzi, and another seven players have been sent out on loan.

However, The Sun claims that as many as 11 more players could be heading for the exit door this summer including goalkeeper Bernd Leno and midfielder Lucas Torreira.

Leno, who has fallen behind Aaron Ramsdale in the pecking order, is allegedly undergoing a medical with Fulham ahead of completing a £8m switch to Craven Cottage.

Torreira, meanwhile, is believed to be closing in on a move to Turkish giants Galatasaray, who are prepared to pay around £5.9m for the 26-year-old Uruguay international.

Club-record signing Nicolas Pepe faces an uncertain future at the club, with The Sun adding that Arteta will look to sell the winger this summer if they are able to sign a replacement.

The Gunners missed out on recruiting Raphinha, who ended up joining Barcelona, but they have allegedly identified PSV Eindhoven's Cody Gakpo as an alternative, with the Dutchman valued between £33m and £37.5m.

After spending the 2021-22 campaign on loan with Real Betis, Hector Bellerin is another player tipped to leave Arsenal and could potentially return to the Spanish side this summer on either a loan or permanent deal.

Meanwhile, highly-rated prospect Folarin Balogun is set to join Ligue 1 outfit Reims on a season-long loan deal as he aims to gain regular first-team football in the 2022-23 campaign.

Ainsley Maitland-Niles, Pablo Mari, Reiss Nelson and Alex Runarsson are four more players who Arsenal are prepared to part ways with.

All four players spent time on loan last season and are unlikely to feature regularly in Arteta's first-team squad this term.

The Sun states that Arsenal are hoping to raise as much as £50m from player sales, but they fear that interested clubs will wait until the final days of the window to pressure the Gunners into lowering the valuations of their unwanted players.
