Arsenal, Liverpool to move for Greek striker?

A report in Greece claims that striker Konstantinos Mitroglou is wanted by both Arsenal and Liverpool.

Premier League duo Arsenal and Liverpool are reportedly keen to sign Konstantinos Mitroglou from Olympiacos.

The 25-year-old initially struggled to establish himself with his Greek club following his arrival from Borussia Mönchengladbach in 2007, but last season he found the net on 20 occasions and has already scored 12 times this term.

That has alerted a host of European clubs, including the English pair, according to Gazzetta.gr.

It is also believed that Olympiacos would not accept anything less than £7m for the Greece international.

Borussia Dortmund, Inter Milan, Genoa, Benfica and Sporting Lisbon are among the other sides who are said to be monitoring the centre-forward's availability.
