Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta is reportedly considering a number of high-profile sales during the summer transfer window.

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has reportedly identified four players who may be allowed to leave the Emirates Stadium this summer.

Despite making two additions during January, Arteta remains keen to overhaul his Gunners squad later in 2020 in a bid to challenge for the top four next season.

The recently-appointed boss is also aware that failing to achieve qualification for next season's Champions League will cost the club valuable funds in the transfer market.

According to the Daily Mail, Arteta is considering whether to cash in on Sokratis Papastathopoulos, Matteo Guendouzi and Ainsley Maitland-Niles.

The report adds that an effort will also be made to move on Mesut Ozil, despite suggestions from the player's agent that he intends to stay in North London.

While each player has been handed regular minutes this season, Arteta seemingly regards their exits as the most effective way to add to his warchest for the upcoming transfer window.
