Kyle Bartley admits that he may leave Rangers to return to parent club Arsenal following the Scottish club's troubles.

Kyle Bartley has admitted that he may cut his loan spell at Rangers short and return to parent club Arsenal.

The 20-year-old defender joined Rangers on loan in August, but with the Scottish club in the process of cutting costs, he has claimed that he may return to London.

"Nothing has currently been decided. My parent club is Arsenal so logic says that I will go back to Arsenal if cuts are made, but nothing has been decided," Bartley told Sky Sports News.

"As it stands I am still a Rangers player for the season. As it stands I will be leaving Rangers in May to go back to Arsenal.

"But talks are still ongoing with the administrators so it's up to the club to come to some sort of conclusion."

Rangers duo Gregg Wylde and Mervan Celik were released from their contracts on Tuesday morning.
