Brighton & Hove Albion are reportedly keen on a deal for Arsenal's Ainsley Maitland-Niles.
Despite having made 31 appearances across all competitions for the Gunners this term, Maitland-Niles's future at the Emirates is currently shrouded in uncertainty ahead of next season.
Indeed, the Englishman could supposedly be heading for the exit door after failing to hold down a regular spot in the first team, and Maitland-Niles is not thought to be short of offers amid speculation regarding his next career move.
According to The Mirror, Brighton are keeping a close eye on developments and are keen to strike a deal for the versatile 22-year-old, who has been utilised as a midfielder and in both wing-back positions for Arsenal.
Brighton have already been active in the transfer market with the arrivals of Adam Lallana and Joel Veltman, and the report claims that Arsenal could be willing to part ways with Maitland-Niles as a means of raising funds for potential signings.
The former England Under-21 international is under contract at the Emirates until 2023.
