Former Arsenal defender Lee Dixon believes that Gonzalo Higuain would fit right in at the club should he complete a move from Real Madrid.

The 25-year-old is reportedly close to sealing a switch to Arsene Wenger's side and the former England international feels that the Gunners' type of play would suit the Argentine well.

Dixon told Sky Sports News: "If it comes off, hopefully from an Arsenal point of view, he's quality through and through.

"He will score goals there's no doubt about that. He will get chances at Arsenal because they do create chances, they play his type of game so I think he'll fit in really well."

Higuain scored 18 goals for Madrid last season in all competitions.
