Fenerbahce are reportedly poised to announce the signing of ex-Arsenal midfielder Mesut Ozil on Saturday.
The 32-year-old recently called time on his Gunners career and terminated his contract six months early after being frozen out of the team.
Ozil arrived in Turkey earlier this week to finalise a move to the Super Lig giants, where he is reportedly set to pen a three-and-a-half year deal.
According to Sabah, Ozil has been forced to quarantine upon arriving in the country, and Fenerbahce will wait until the weekend to confirm his signing.
The former Real Madrid man was pocketing £350k a week at Arsenal while watching on from home, but he is understood to be taking a £283k hit on his pay packet to complete a switch to Fenerbahce.
Ozil leaves Arsenal having registered 44 goals and 77 assists for the club since moving to the Emirates in 2013, and manager Mikel Arteta has claimed that the playmaker's quality will be missed in North London.
