Krystian Bielik hints at Arsenal exit

Young Arsenal defender Krystian Bielik suggests that he may leave the club this summer in pursuit of senior football.

Arsenal youngster Krystian Bielik has seemingly hinted that he wishes to leave the club by insisting that he will "definitely" not play for the youth side anymore.

The 21-year-old centre-back was brought in by Arsene Wenger in 2015 and has since made just two League Cup appearances for the senior team, instead spending time out on loan with the likes of Birmingham City, Walsall and Charlton Athletic in the lower divisions.

Bielik is now with the Poland squad for the Under-21 Euros in Italy but has said that he will speak to Gunners manager Unai Emery about his future upon his return.

"My future is unknown but there is one thing I can say for sure: I will definitely not go back to Arsenal Under-23 team," he told Goal.com.

"At this stage it wouldn't make sense. If I do not receive the possibility to join the first team permanently, I will have to look for other solutions. I feel like a senior player now so I want to play senior football.

"This is, however, not the right moment to discuss these issues as I want to be 100% focused on the European Championships."

Bielik is about to enter the final 12 months of his current contract with the London side.
