Report: Arsenal to move for Diego Costa

Arsenal are reportedly preparing a £30m swoop for Atletico Madrid striker Diego Costa.

Arsenal are reportedly preparing a January swoop for Atletico Madrid striker Diego Costa.

The Gunners believe that they can tempt the forward to the Emirates in the New Year, and are readying a £30m bid for the Atleti hitman, according to Goal.com.

Costa is thought to be on relatively low wages at Vicente Calderon, and scouts were dispatched to watch him score twice in Los Rojiblancos' 3-2 win over Levante on December 21.

The 25-year-old was a summer target for Liverpool.
