Report: Arsenal keep tabs on Lille midfielder Idrissa Gueye

Arsenal are reportedly monitoring Lille midfielder Idrissa Gueye ahead of a potential summer move.

Arsenal are reportedly keeping track of Lille midfielder Idrissa Gueye ahead of a possible transfer swoop in the summer.

Manager Arsene Wenger, who is expected to be busy when the window reopens, is believed to have placed the 24-year-old Senegal international on his wishlist.

According to talkSPORT, Gueye is an option for the Gunners as they aim to strengthen their squad in a bid to challenge for the Premier League title next season.

The 24-year-old has played for Lille his entire career, making almost 100 league appearances for the club since signing professional terms in 2010.

Reports have claimed that the North London outfit are also monitoring Gueye's teammate Divock Origi.
