Report: Theo Walcott still on Barcelona radar

Injured Arsenal forward Theo Walcott is still a target for Barcelona, who will reportedly make a move once their transfer ban ends in January.

Arsenal forward Theo Walcott is a January transfer target for Barcelona, according to a report.

The England international, who was first linked with the Catalan giants earlier this year, is currently sidelined with a calf injury.

According to Spanish newspaper Mundo Deportivo, Barcelona - under a transfer ban until the new year - see the 26-year-old as an ideal replacement for Rafinha, who is expected to miss the remainder of the season after tearing his cruciate ligament.

Walcott has impressed in a centre-forward role at the Emirates Stadium this term, scoring four times since being given the nod by Arsene Wenger to start up top.
