Premier League trio named in South Korea World Cup squad

South Korea manager Hong Myung-Bo selects three Premier League players in his 23-man squad for this summer's World Cup in Brazil.

South Korea have named three Premier League players among their 23-man squad for this summer's World Cup.

Arsenal striker Park Chu-young, Swansea City's Ki Sung-yeung - who is currently on loan at Sunderland - and Cardiff City midfielder Kim Bo-kyung have all been selected by manager Hong Myung-Bo.

Park was sent on loan to Championship club Watford earlier this year, while Kim has featured heavily throughout Cardiff's maiden top-flight campaign.

Meanwhile, Bolton Wanderers winger Lee Chung-yong and Queens Park Rangers' Yun Suk-yong have also been named among the travelling party for Brazil 2014.

South Korea are in Group H, along with Russia, Algeria and Belgium.
