Report: Aston Villa sack assistant manager Ian Culverhouse

Aston Villa reportedly sack assistant manager Ian Culverhouse after the club launched an investigation into alleged reports of bullying.

Aston Villa have reportedly fired assistant manager Ian Culverhouse following an internal investigation by the club.

The 49-year-old and the head of football operations Gary Karsa were suspended in April amid reports of alleged bullying of staff members.

Karsa left his role earlier this month and now the assistant boss has followed suit after two years at Villa Park, according to reports.

Shay Given and Gordon Cowans were promoted to the coaching staff after the duo's suspension, but their roles have yet to be made permanent.
