Aston Villa winger Scott Sinclair has expressed his eagerness to work with new manager Tim Sherwood.
The former Tottenham Hotspur boss was appointed as the club's new manager on Saturday, just days after Paul Lambert was sacked.
From the stands, Sherwood watched Sinclair, who is on loan from Manchester City, score his first goal since August 2012 in Villa's 2-1 victory over Leicester City in the fourth round of the FA Cup at the weekend.
"There is a lift from the fans and all we can do is concentrate game by game and take it into the next one," PA quotes Sinclair as saying.
"I'm looking forward as much as anyone else in the team to working with him. Hopefully he brings something different and it rubs off on the boys and we win games."
Sherwood gave the half-time team talk at the match.
