Aston Villa have reportedly identified Huddersfield Town forward Karlan Grant as a potential summer signing.
Despite the West Midlands outfit currently attempting to avoid relegation from the Premier League, talks are being held behind the scenes regarding the next transfer window.
According to West London Sport, Villa are contemplating an approach for Grant, who has impressed in the Championship this season.
Although the Terriers have struggled at the second tier, the 22-year-old has still contributed 16 goals and four assists from 34 appearances.
While Grant has just over two years left on his contract, Huddersfield have the option to extend it by a further 12 months.
Nevertheless, a big-money bid may tempt the Yorkshire outfit into making a profit on a player who they signed from Charlton Athletic in January 2019.
West Bromwich Albion are also said to be monitoring the situation.
