Filipe Luis suffers thigh injury

Atletico Madrid defender Filipe Luis suffers a thigh injury in Tuesday's 3-0 win over Austria Vienna in the Champions League.

Atletico Madrid defender Filipe Luis could face a period on the sidelines after suffering a thigh injury in Tuesday's 3-0 win over Austria Vienna in the Champions League.

The left-back was forced off with the problem in the European clash, with early indications that he has suffered a thigh train.

The extent of the injury is currently unclear, but the Brazilian will undergo tests in the Spanish capital this afternoon, before Atletico release a statement on his situation.

Luis has been ever-present in the Spanish outfit's first XI this season.
