Paris Saint-Germain forward Edinson Cavani is reportedly closing in on a move to Atletico Madrid.
The Uruguay international, who moved to France from Napoli in 2013, has had another strong season for PSG – netting 28 goals in 49 games.
The 28-year-old has long been linked with a move away from the French champions, however, due to his wide position in the team.
According to TF1, Atletico have signalled their intention to make an offer at the end of the season and PSG are prepared to let the striker leave.
Cavani could be a direct replacement for Mario Mandzukic, who is expected to leave Atletico this summer after just one season in Madrid.
