Everton are reportedly still interested in signing Leeds United attacker Wilfried Gnonto during this summer's transfer window.
The 20-year-old scored nine goals and registered three assists in 44 appearances in all competitions for his Championship club during the 2023-24 campaign.
Gnonto has a contract at Elland Road until June 2027, but he is being tipped to leave this summer, with Leeds unable to secure promotion to the Premier League last term.
Leeds are thought to want in the region of £25m for Gnonto, and according to Football Insider, Everton remain interested in securing his signature this summer despite the club's recent takeover collapse.
The Toffees are not believed to be willing to meet the current asking price for the attacker, though, and are hopeful of negotiating the price down.
Gnonto has scored 12 times and registered 10 assists in 74 appearances for Leeds since making the move to the club from Zurich in 2022.

Bayern 'yet' to agree deal for Tah
Meanwhile, according to Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano, Bayern Munich are yet to come to an agreement with Bayer Leverkusen over a deal for Jonathan Tah this summer.
Bayern have allegedly made the Germany international their leading defensive target during the summer window.
However, Romano claims that the reigning Bundesliga champions have not yet given the green light for the transfer to go through.
Tah is said to be pushing to make the move to Allianz Arena, with the defender giving priority to Vincent Kompany's side despite interest from other clubs.
The 28-year-old has been with Leverkusen since 2015, making 353 appearances for the club in all competitions, including 48 outings during an impressive 2023-24 campaign for Xabi Alonso's team.

Dovbyk 'closing in' on move to Roma
Elsewhere, Girona striker Artem Dovbyk is allegedly closing in on a move to Italian giants Roma.
Atletico Madrid had seemingly been at the head of the queue for the striker, who was in excellent form for Girona during the 2023-24 campaign.
However, according to transfer expert Romano, the Ukraine international has already come to a verbal agreement with Roma over a switch to the Serie A team.
The two clubs are now said to be in discussions over a fee, with Girona demanding a sizeable figure.
"Atletico Madrid is a great club, but we didn't see a serious project for Artem there. Their offer is significantly lower in financial terms compared to the other offers," Dovbyk's agent Alex Lundovsky told Ukrfootball.
The 27-year-old scored 24 goals in 36 La Liga appearances for Girona last season to help the Catalan outfit claim third spot in the table and secure a position in the 2024-25 Champions League.
