Josep Maria Bartomeu: 'Barcelona have the best attack in the world'

Josep Maria Bartomeu claims that Barcelona have the best attack in world football following the 6-0 triumph over Elche.

Josep Maria Bartomeu has claimed that Barcelona have the best attack in world football following the 6-0 thrashing of Elche on Saturday.

Despite Luis Suarez's omission from the starting lineup, Luis Enrique's side were in fine form as both Lionel Messi and Neymar scored braces in an emphatic victory, and Bartomeu was quick to praise his club's forwards.

"We have the best attack in the world," Bartomeu said after the game. "We demonstrated that again in this game. We have a very powerful attack.

"Messi plays for the team, he doesn't look at statistics or goals. We are improving in the second half of the season and we are growing in confidence at an important part of the campaign."

Barcelona are back in action against Atletico Madrid in the Copa del Rey on Wednesday.
