Jeremy Mathieu happy to play at full-back

Barcelona defender Jeremy Mathieu is happy to play in any position across the back four this season.

Barcelona defender Jeremy Mathieu has insisted that he has no problem filling in at full-back for the Catalan outfit this season.

The Frenchman, who was signed from Valencia this summer, started the season at centre-back for Barca, but was switched to left-back for Saturday's 2-0 win over Rayo Vallecano.

"I hadn't been playing there but I had a good feeling," he told Marca.

"The coach asked me to work at left-back and to go there. It wasn't new to me. I know the position well. I think I did well in attack, contributing when possible.

"And we're still not conceding goals in the league."

Barcelona have still not conceded a single goal in the league this season.
