Luis Suarez: 'I feel like a footballer again'

Barcelona forward Luis Suarez reveals that he feels "like a footballer again" after being allowed to return to training.

Luis Suarez has revealed that being allowed to return to training with Barcelona has let him "feel like a footballer again".

The Uruguay international was initially unable to train with his new club as part of his ban from all footballing activities for biting Italy's Giorgio Chiellini at the World Cup earlier this year, but the terms of his punishment were relaxed last month.

The former Liverpool forward told Sky Sports News: "The truth is that you suffer a lot. It gives you a feeling of impotence not being able to do anything from the outside except talk and shout.

"Being able to tell my children that I am going to work gives me a feeling of calm. I am starting to feel like a footballer again.

"This time, being at the world's best club, there will be many more eyes on me than before. So you have to be careful confronted with all these things and you have to take the responsibility and be intelligent in that sense."

Suarez was handed a four-month ban following the incident, as well as a nine-match suspension from international duty.
