Pedro coy on Barcelona future

Pedro concedes that his Barcelona career is at a crossroads amid speculation linking him with a move to the Premier League.

Pedro has admitted that he has found himself in a "tricky position" at Barcelona.

The 27-year-old winger struggled for game time last term after Luis Suarez, Lionel Messi and Neymar forged a goal-laden triumvirate in the Catalans' treble-winning season.

Nevertheless, the Spain international signed a contract extension until 2019 in June, having been linked to Arsenal and Liverpool, but speculation remains over his future.

It was reported this week that Pedro would snub a Premier League move in favour of fighting for his place at Camp Nou, but he says that he will decide his future upon returning from holiday.

"I'm in a tricky position," he is quoted as saying by Marca.

"We'll see what's best for everyone. I'm only thinking about relaxing and spending the next few days on holiday."

Pedro graduated from the club's famed La Masia youth academy and has since netted 58 Liga goals in 208 appearances.
