Half-Time Report: Bolton Wanderers lead at Oakwell

Bolton Wanderers lead Barnsley 2-0 at the half-time interval at Oakwell.

Bolton Wanderers have opened up a 2-0 lead over Barnsley after the first 45 minutes at Oakwell.

David Ngog put the visitors in front in the 15th minute when he got on the end of Chris Eagles's cross.

The Frenchman saw his first effort kept out, but he stabbed home the rebound to give his side the lead.

Luke Steele made a fantastic save to deny Eagles, but he could not keep the Trotters out for much longer as Jay Spearing doubled the lead.

His driven effort took a slight deflection on its way through, leaving the keeper powerless to stop it.
