Toulouse boss Alain Casanova anticipates 'tough' Bastia test

Toulouse manager Alain Casanova stresses the importance of this evening's Ligue 1 clash with Bastia.

Toulouse manager Alain Casanova has warned his players to be wary of the threat posed by Bastia when the two sides meet in Ligue 1 this evening.

Casanova was quick to stress the importance of the match, pointing out that the teams around them in the league table have started to pick up points.

"It'll be a tough match against a side with a lot of potential," Ligue1.com quotes him as saying.

"They are very strong, with a good squad and some experienced players who have played in Europe.

"This is an important match, because behind us the teams who have been struggling are starting to come good."

Toulouse and Bastia head into the match level on points, occupying 11th and 12th respectively in the league.
