Arjen Robben admits that it would be "special" to host the Champions League final.

Arjen Robben has said that it would be "extra special" to reach the Champions League final, which will be held at the Allianz Arena, this season.

The Bayern Munich man scored the club's second goal in their 2-0 triumph in Marseille to put one foot in the semi-finals last night, but admits that the German outfit cannot afford to look too far ahead at this stage.

"We shouldn't talk about the final, but of course it's something extra special when it's in our own stadium," he told UEFA's official website.

"I think it's something special, the final in our stadium. For the club, it would be something big. We have to first get a round further."

Bayern currently trail Bundesliga leaders Borussia Dortmund in the race for the German league title.
