Franck Ribery wants to end career at Bayern Munich

Bayern Munich winger Franck Ribery wants to end his career with the Bundesliga giants.

Bayern Munich winger Franck Ribery has stated his desire to end his career with the Bundesliga giants.

The Frenchman revealed that his wife and children are happy in Munich and he has no plans to leave any time soon.

Ribery has scored 64 goals in 176 appearances since joining the club that he has described as his "second family".

"I'm nearly 29 and I've got a contract that runs until 2015, so why not [stay]? I'm not thinking about leaving," he said.

"My wife and my children are happy in Munich. We've just bought a nice house. I've been at Bayern for five seasons, I've got close friends like Daniel [van Buyten]. This club has become my second family, my sporting family."

During his time in Bavaria, the 28-year-old has helped Bayern to win two league titles, two German Cups and a German League Cup.

"I'm popular here," he added. "At Bayern, in Germany, I feel happy, that's the word. I'm really loving it."

Ribery joined Bayern from Marseille for a reported €25m (£21m) in 2007.
