Relegated SV Darmstadt 98 aim to scupper Hoffenheim's European bid when they host Pellegrino Matarazzo's men in gameweek 33's action in the Bundesliga on Sunday.

This weekend's game is the bottom side's final top-flight game at Merck-Stadion am Bollenfalltor, and they seek to end a wretched campaign positively on home turf against a side keen to end in the continental qualification positions.

We say: SV Darmstadt 98 1-2 Hoffenheim

Despite Hoffenheim's four losses on the trot away from home, Matarazzo's troops should back themselves for maximum points against Darmstadt. Die Kraichgauer are undefeated in six matches against newly promoted clubs — four wins and two draws — securing four straight road triumphs against such opponents, potentially becoming five this weekend.

Bayern Munich welcome Wolfsburg to the Allianz Arena on Sunday in their final home fixture of the Bundesliga campaign.

The gameweek 33 fixture is Thomas Tuchel's final match in Bavaria before his expected departure, days after a bitter Champions League exit for Die Bayern against Real Madrid, and the outgoing manager hopes for a positive outcome against the Europe-chasing Wolves.

We say: Bayern Munich 2-1 Wolfsburg

Despite the potential of a European hangover on Sunday, Tuchel's men should secure maximum points to bounce back from two defeats on the trot in all competitions. Wolfsburg have lost 24 and drawn twice in 26 visits to Bayern, and that wretched record is not expected to end this weekend.

VfL Bochum vs. B. Leverkusen (Sunday, 6.30pm)

Looking to make sure of their first-tier status next season, VfL Bochum will welcome German champions Bayer Leverkusen to Vonovia Ruhrstadion on Sunday night in the Bundesliga.

Die Blauen came out on the winning side of a seven-goal thriller with Union Berlin last time out, whilst Leverkusen were last in action on the continent, securing a place in the Europa League final.
