Winger Franck Ribery suggests that he is only prepared to contemplate offers from 'big clubs' after his release from Bayern Munich.

Franck Ribery has suggested that he wants to remain playing at 'a high level' for at least two more seasons.

The winger is available on a free transfer this summer after spending the last 12 years at Bayern Munich, in which he made 425 appearances in all competitions.

The Frenchman played a reduced role at the German giants during the most recent campaign, featuring in the starting lineup on just 10 occasions for Bundesliga fixtures.

However, the 36-year-old has indicated that he is only interested in representing "a big club" as teams consider making an offer for his services.

Ribery told L'Equipe: "I'm still hungry and I think I can still give things. As long as I think that I have a high level in my head and legs, I'll go for it.

"I'll never cheat. I can still play for a big club. Let me think, I want to play for two more seasons."

A report had claimed that newly-promoted Sheffield United are keen on Ribery, although a switch to Bramall Lane appears highly unlikely at this stage of the summer.
