Report: Benfica want Jonas

A report claims that Benfica want to sign former Valencia attacker Jonas this summer.

Benfica are reportedly the favourites to sign former Valencia attacker Jonas this summer.

The Brazilian is currently available on a free transfer after leaving Los Che last month and as a result, can be signed outside of the transfer window.

A number of European clubs have been linked with a move, but according to A Bola, Benfica currently lead the race for the 30-year-old.

Jonas, who is without a club for the first time in his professional career, scored 10 times in 40 games for Valencia last season.
