It emerged yesterday that Premier League outfit West Bromwich Albion had a second bid rejected for the defender.
Despite the Midlands club's desire to keep hold of the 27-year-old, Ridgewell is attempting to reinforce his summer transfer request, according to The Mirror.
The Baggies' latest offer is believed to be in the region of £1.5m.
